Happy 4th of July!!!

On Henry's first Fourth of July, it was appropriately hot outside.

We had such a great day - went shopping in the morning, spent the afternoon at the Grandparents and the evening at home (and safely out of the traffic).

While babies in sunglasses are pretty ridiculous, it is however very very cute.

Saturday in the Park

What a beautiful way to spend a Saturday - strolling through Wright Park... the weather is nice, everyone is outside enjoying the sunshine, and I bothered to walk down here on a day that the Conservatory is actually open.

We walked through, admiring the plentiful fuchsia plants and the orchids, two of my favorite flowers. If my camera hadn't run out of room, I would have taken loads more pictures. Oh well, another day perhaps.

Mondays Off

Today I had the day off and Henry and I walked down to the hospital to have dinner with Brandon. The dinner date didn't last too long - Henry hadn't taken a nap that day, and was not too fond of sitting there while we ate. He humored us for awhile before he decided to make us (and those sitting around us) generally pretty miserable. And now, as I write this, he is upstairs fighting sleep.

As Brandon would say: he's telling sad stories.
